How Close is TOO CLOSE?
Confined in the family home of my nesting partner, inundated by their personal history I found myself with a sense of nostalgia for a life that was not mine.
CABINED, CRIBBED AND CONFINED. Like Macbeth in his Lady’s Presence.
BORIS is both prop and persona... real and performed... hiding in plane sight, too close to be seen clearly. This montage of performative shoots was a catharsis for our stifled selves (living in his mothers house and attempting to continue a committed, polyamorous, relationship) an ode to the obsession of a lover. They are fragments of the performative mischief and play of the relationship at that time. Rest in Peace Lover.
